What a day! We gave away our first free holiday on Twitter and the response has been crazy. We're loving all the Barrhead Travel themed tweets, or birdsong as we've been calling it at Team Barrhead.
It's a simple idea, anyone who follows Barrhead Travel on Twitter and includes a designated hashtag in their tweets goes into the draw and then we randomly pick a winner who wins a free holiday.
There's another tomorrow. We're off to give our fingers a rest until then!

It's GO GO GO at Barrhead Travel
... isn't it just - it's absolutely non-stop in here. A mad rush for late deals, a huge demand for the 2010 holidays that have just gone on sale and lots, lots more besides.
The Pound has eventually climbed against the Euro, and just in time for the Summer holidays, but we're still seeing plenty of holidaymakers going further afield to try and beat the Euro. Turkey has been massive this summer, as have Bulgaria, Croatia and Egypt. In the eurozone we've seen a huge uptake in all-inclusive deals by those canny travellers who have opted to pay up front for food and drink.
There are still plenty of people who are already looking ahead to summer 2010 and we've been inundated, nay swamped! with enquiries from the early birds looking to get next summer's sunshine holidays arranged already.
Not content with all that we've also set up an exclusive deal to be the walk-in booking centre for this year's Rally of Scotland which runs 19-21 November. Day passes start at only £15 per adult with three-day passes also available. For the motorsport enthusiasts out there now is the time to vrrrrrooooooommmm down to Barrhead and pick up your tickets before they're all gone.
